Do I need to empty my dresser drawers?
You can leave clothes in your dresser drawers, but avoid packing breakables, heavy items, or liquids, as these could damage the dresser. If your dresser is an antique or made of particle board, it’s best to move it empty to avoid risk.

Do I need to disassemble my beds?
While pre-disassembling furniture can save time and money, our movers come equipped with tools to handle disassembly and reassembly as needed. We’re happy to help with as much or as little as you prefer.

How should I pay for my move?
We accept cash, money orders, cashier’s checks, Visa, and MasterCard for payment.

How are moving rates set?
In Washington, licensed movers are regulated by the Washington State Utilities and Transportation Commission (WUTC), which sets the minimum and maximum rates based on the 15-C tariff.

What items can’t go on the truck?
Flammable or hazardous materials, pets, and—due to insurance restrictions—you, the shipper, are not allowed on the truck.

Will you move plants for local moves?
Yes, we can move plants locally, but we can’t guarantee against shock or minor damage such as broken limbs.

Do I need a written estimate?
Yes, a written estimate is required. You can complete an online estimate form or schedule an in-home assessment with one of our estimators.

What is shrink wrap used for?
Shrink wrap is a protective plastic covering used primarily to secure couches and protect furniture by holding quilt pads in place during the move.
